Farmwork4u covers the main categories of WHV-eligible specified work: farming & agriculture (fruit picking, packing, pruning, livestock), construction in regional areas, mining, and tourism & hospitality in Northern Australia or Remote/Very Remote areas. Every listing is tagged with which visa subclasses it counts for: 417, 462, or both.
Yes. Most farming and construction listings count for both 417 and 462. Mining is 417-only under current rules. Hospitality depends on the specific postcode.
That's a flat fee of $12 (less than a hostel dorm night) for lifetime access to the full verified directory. We charge a small amount because it keeps the list high quality: people who pay actually want to work, and we can invest time properly verifying every employer. No subscription, no hidden fees. If you pay and can't find anything that works for you, email us and we'll sort it out.
Every employer is verified against the Australian Business Register and contacted directly before being listed. We check that the business is active, in a qualifying postcode, and doing eligible work. Listings that can't be verified are removed. We built this because we got burned by bad info ourselves. We take that seriously.
